PRISM Quartet: FREE Premieres Concerts – 6/5 NYC, 6/6 Philly

Join PRISM Quartet on June 5th at Christ & St. Stephen’s Church in NYC and June 6th at the The Free Library of Philadelphia for FREE PREMIERES CONCERTS. The program features world premieres of new works by Marcos Balter, Helen Feng, and Adam Silverman, and NYC and/or Philly premieres from Renee Baker, Alfredo Cabrera, and Flannery Cunningham. Admission is free for both concerts. Advance reservations are required for the NY concert. No reservation is needed for Philly – just show up!

The program covers an expansive range of musical terrain, showcasing PRISM’s ability to move effortlessly between styles (Philadelphia Inquirerer), with composers drawing on everything from free jazz, Venezuelan Joropo (folk music), post-minimalism, and more.
